Price factors

What actually moves your facelift price

We deliberately don't publish a per-technique price list, because the same technique carries different fees with different surgeons — and a low headline price often means something was left out. These are the five factors that decide where you land in the range.

Technique depth

A mini or short-scar lift is a shorter, less invasive operation than a deep plane facelift, which repositions deeper facial layers. More surgical time and more advanced training raise the fee — this is the single biggest price driver.

Combined procedures

Adding a neck lift, eyelid surgery, brow lift or fat transfer increases the total, but combining procedures in one session is cheaper than booking them separately because theatre and anesthesia time is shared.

Surgeon seniority

Years of facelift-specific experience, board certification, society memberships (ISAPS, EBOPRAS, ASPS) and award recognition all push a surgeon toward the top band. This is the one factor worth paying for.

Revision status

A secondary facelift works through scar tissue and altered anatomy, so revisions typically add 15–25% to the surgical fee and require a surgeon with documented revision experience.

Accommodation level

Economic, standard and premium hotel options move the package total, but they never change the surgical quality — only the comfort of your recovery week.

In the package

What an all-inclusive quote must cover

Every Medolea quote includes all six items below, in writing. If a quote you receive anywhere else is missing one of them, it is not all-inclusive — the difference will appear on your bill in Istanbul.

  • Surgeon & operating theatre fees. The core of every quote
  • General anesthesia & anesthesiology team. Always included, never an add-on
  • Hospital stay & nursing care. In an internationally accredited hospital
  • Post-op medication & dressings. A prepared kit before you leave the hospital
  • VIP airport, hotel & hospital transfers. Private vehicle, arranged for you
  • Follow-up & written aftercare plan. Including fit-to-fly clearance
Premium hotel suite where facelift patients recover in Istanbul

Usually not included

  • · Flights to Istanbul — you book these yourself, at whatever fare you find
  • · Travel insurance with elective-surgery cover — strongly recommended
  • · Companions' meals and personal spending

Many nationalities enter Turkey visa-free for up to 90 days; your coordinator confirms the rule for your passport before you book.

Turkey vs US & UK

Why the same operation costs three to four times less

In the US or UK, the surgeon's fee alone for a deep plane facelift commonly exceeds the entire Turkish package — before anesthesia, facility fees or aftercare are added. Istanbul's advantage is structural: lower facility, staffing and insurance costs, in hospitals that hold the same international accreditations.

The meaningful comparison is never price against price — it is price against credentials. A board-certified facial surgeon with documented deep-plane case volume in an accredited Istanbul hospital is the equivalent operation, not a compromise. That is exactly the profile we verify before any surgeon enters our network.

FAQ

Facelift cost questions, answered

How much does a facelift cost in Turkey in 2026?+

Most patients who use the Medolea calculator receive an all-inclusive estimate between $13,000 and $20,000. Experienced, board-eligible surgeons sit in the $13,000–$15,000 band; the most credentialed facial surgeons with society memberships, awards and premium accommodation land at $19,000–$20,000.

Is the quoted price really all-inclusive?+

Yes. Your written quote covers surgeon and theatre fees, general anesthesia, hospital stay, post-operative medication and dressings, VIP airport-hotel-hospital transfers, and a written aftercare plan. Anything outside that is listed before you commit.

How does the Turkey price compare to the US or UK?+

The same technique typically costs three to four times more in the US or UK, where surgeon fees alone often exceed an entire Turkish package. The difference comes from lower operating and staffing costs, not lower standards — the hospitals we work with are internationally accredited.

Why is there a range instead of one fixed price?+

Because no two faces are the same. Technique depth, combined procedures (neck lift, eyelids, brow), tissue laxity, revision status, and the surgeon's seniority all move the price. A calculator estimate gives you a realistic planning band; the exact figure follows a surgeon's review of your photographs.

Are there hidden costs I should watch for?+

With a properly written package, no. Ask any provider to confirm in writing: anesthesia, hospital nights, medication, transfers, follow-up visits and revision terms. If any of those are missing from the quote, they will appear on your bill later.

Do I pay Medolea or the clinic?+

You pay the clinic or hospital directly, before the surgery date, by bank transfer or card. Our matching service is free for patients and we never hold your money.

Important: every figure on this page is for planning only. Final pricing and medical suitability are confirmed after the surgeon reviews your photographs and health history. Prefer to talk it through? Message us on WhatsApp.
