Surgeon matching service

The right surgeon for your budget — not the loudest advertiser

Instead of contacting multiple clinics and completing the same form again and again, you submit one request. We suggest surgeons based on your procedure, expectations, medical information and budget.

The most expensive surgeon is not automatically the best choice, and the cheapest option is rarely the safest basis for a decision. We weigh area of focus, experience with facial surgery, treatment approach, availability and price range.

Techniques

Three ways to lift a face

A facelift repositions the deeper layers of the face and removes the excess skin that is left over — it softens jowls, redefines the jawline and lifts the cheeks. It does not change the nose, the brow height or the eye shape; those are separate operations. The right technique depends on your anatomy, not on a price list.

Editorial profile of a mature woman illustrating graceful facial ageing

Deep Plane Facelift

Best for
Heavier tissue, mid-face descent, or jowling that has returned after an earlier lift
How it works
Retaining ligaments are released so skin and deeper layers are repositioned as one unit
Longevity
Typically 10–15 years
Trade-off
Longest swelling phase; only surgeons with dedicated deep-plane training should perform it

SMAS Facelift

Best for
Moderate jawline and cheek laxity with reasonable skin quality
How it works
The SMAS layer beneath the skin is tightened and re-draped, the most widely used approach
Longevity
Typically 8–10 years
Trade-off
Less powerful on deep mid-face laxity than a deep-plane lift

Mini / Short-Scar Lift

Best for
Early jowls, mild lower-face laxity, or a touch-up after a previous full lift
How it works
Shorter incisions and limited dissection around the ear
Longevity
Typically 4–7 years
Trade-off
Correction is limited — it will not fix a heavy neck
Recovery

Plan seven to ten days in Istanbul

Surgery, the first wound check and suture removal all happen before you fly. Your surgeon confirms fit-to-fly status once healing is on track, so book a ticket you can move by a day or two.

Healing is driven by technique, your own health and how closely you follow aftercare — no nicotine for at least four to six weeks either side of surgery, blood pressure in the range your surgeon sets, and strict wound care.

What we verify, and what you should ask

We check every one of these before a surgeon enters our network. Ask the same questions of anyone else you are considering — a clinic that answers them in writing is a clinic worth talking to.

Surgeon reviewing medical credentials and documents
  • Specialist training in plastic and reconstructive surgery — not general surgery with cosmetic add-ons
  • Current national medical registration, with the registration number available on request
  • Facelift-specific annual volume, not total procedure count
  • Documented deep-plane training if that is the technique being proposed
  • Unedited before-and-after sets at day 1, month 3, month 6 and year 1 under the same lighting
  • The accredited hospital where your surgery and overnight care actually take place
  • A written aftercare schedule, 24-hour contact, and revision terms in the quote

Facelift prices, in plain terms

Why is a facelift cheaper in Turkey?+

Lower operating and staffing costs, not lower standards. The same deep plane technique performed in London or Los Angeles carries a surgeon fee three to four times higher, while the hospital in Istanbul is internationally accredited and the surgeon board certified.

What is the average cost of a facelift in Turkey?+

Most patients land between $13,000 and $20,000 all-inclusive. The lower band covers experienced board-eligible surgeons; the upper band reflects the most experienced, fully credentialed surgeons with award recognition and premium accommodation.

What factors determine the final facelift price?+

Technique depth, whether a neck lift or blepharoplasty is combined, tissue laxity, the surgeon's experience and credentials, anesthesia type, hospital nights and whether it is a revision case. Revisions typically add 15–25% to the surgical fee.

How do I choose the right plastic surgeon?+

We review qualifications, professional memberships, experience with your specific procedure and the hospital where the operation is planned, then suggest the strongest matches for your needs and budget.

Is your service free for patients?+

Yes. Consultation, case review and surgeon matching cost you nothing. You pay the clinic directly for surgery, at the quoted price.

Are there hidden costs in Turkish packages?+

Not in ours. Your written quote covers surgeon and theatre fees, anesthesia, hospital stay, medication, transfers and follow-up. Anything outside that is listed before you commit.

Can I combine multiple facial procedures in one trip?+

Often yes — a facelift is commonly combined with a neck lift, eyelid surgery, brow lift or fat transfer, and combining lowers the total because theatre and anesthesia are shared.

Is plastic surgery in Turkey safe?+

It is when the surgeon is board certified and the operation takes place in a fully equipped, accredited hospital with an anesthesiology team. We only recommend surgeons and hospitals that meet those conditions.

How long is recovery after a facelift?+

Sutures come out around day 7. Most patients feel presentable at two to three weeks, with residual swelling settling over three months. Plan 7–10 nights in Istanbul.

How much pain should I expect?+

Facelift discomfort is usually described as tightness rather than pain, controlled with oral medication in the first few days. Your medication kit is included in the package.

How long does the surgery take?+

A mini lift takes around two hours; a deep plane facelift with a neck lift can run four to six hours under general anesthesia.

At what age should I consider a facelift?+

There is no fixed age. Most facelift patients are between 45 and 70, but the decision is driven by tissue laxity and your goals, not the number.

What if I need a revision facelift?+

Revisions are possible and common. They typically add 15–25% to the surgical fee because scar tissue and altered anatomy make the procedure more demanding. Tell us in your notes and we match you to a surgeon experienced in secondary cases.

How do I pay, and is financing available?+

You pay the clinic or hospital directly, by bank transfer or card, before the surgery date. We do not hold your money. Some clinics offer instalment plans for EU residents — ask your coordinator after matching.

How long should I stay in Istanbul?+

Plan 7–10 nights: surgery, recovery, suture removal around day 7, and a follow-up before you fly. Your package includes the hospital stay and, if you choose it, a hotel for the remaining nights.

What about travel and visas?+

Istanbul has two international airports with VIP transfer included in your quote. Many nationalities enter Turkey visa-free for up to 90 days; your coordinator confirms the requirement for your passport before you book flights.
